MAIN GUN 25 yo TB
3 April 2017
Having worked on Main Gun previously it was a challenge to help this horse.
If one looks at the left hind leg, in the resting position (before), he has been standing, resting that leg for the last two to three years not being able to load it.
He had difficulty walking down hill even in hand and is now retired.
Armed with new skills I worked on him again today, exploring other avenues and practicing new techniques.
I am grateful that he responded better this time.
After the session he went out to the paddock, we did not monitor his gait but will do tomorrow. After being brought in we decided to have a look and see if there was any improvement. For the first time in a couple of years he was able to load the left leg standing.
We have no idea how long this will last but will monitor the situation.
I will be seeing him again in a couple of days to see if more works needs to be done as I suspect he may need some more work.
